"Convergence was a night for all of us to put everything on the line and show the fans exactly what we're made of. I have been training non-stop for the last month and a half, and my big night was on May 10th in a match against arguably the most brutal competitor in Pangaea, Cutter Driftwood. Most people expected me to cower to the bigger, stronger, more experienced wrestler, but I made it clear from the opening bell that my intentions were to not only stand toe to toe with him, but to stand UP to him as well."
The camera pans out showing Brooklyn on a cardio bike in a gym. On each side of the young rookie is another cardio bike, one with a male, one with a female. Brooklyn's ponytail bounces up and down as she pedals away.
"I put up a fight, but his experience and strength was my downfall. Am I upset about it? Of course, especially considering that the loss probably knocked me out of contention for the World War tournament, which is rumored to have an amazing prize for the winner. But am I proud? Definitely. I came into this match the underdog, nobody expected me to push Cutter as far as I did. There were times when I nearly won. The fans were incredible and really pushed me to keep going when my body wanted to shut down. It was quite the experience."
Both the male and female on either side of her keep pedaling, with the male showing signs of fatigue, moving slower than Brooklyn and the other female.
"My opponents at World War Night One suffered similar fates to mine at Convergence. Lets talk about Danny Hall. 'The Most Hated Man In Wrestling', then I guess the fans loved your match at Convergence. Like this week, you were against a woman, but unlike Heather and myself, you didn't put up much of a fight. I don't think it was a lack of talent because I know everyone that is signed to Pangaea has talent."
The male on the cardio bike to Brooklyn's left is getting very slow at this point, he looks like he's almost ready to throw in the towel.
"The reason you lost Danny, is because you went into the match a little too arrogant. You probably thought since you were wrestling a woman, that it would be an easy night...wrong. There's a fine line between being arrogant and being confident, you crossed it. Man, woman, whatever, its about the passion you have, the drive you possess and how focused you can remain during a match, I've learned that from my trainer Jack Savage.
If you couldn't beat one woman at Convergence, what makes you think you can beat two of us? Danny you might be bigger than me, but take a look at my last match, if Cutter didn't intimidate me, I can promise that you won't either."
The man on the cardio bike yells in frustration and hops off the bike, stomping away out of camera view. Brooklyn looks at the now vacant bike and flashes a beautiful smile as she slowly glances over to her right, observing the female on the other remaining cardio bike.
"Now, Heather Sandstorm. We have a lot in common. I, like you, think everything looks better in pink. We both also walked into Convergence as underdogs, both fought hard, but both came up short. Where we differ is our personalities. Rumor has it that behind all of that pretty pink-ness, you have a sour outlook on life. The glass isn't half full, it's half empty.
Coming from money, I had a charmed life growing up, maybe that affects my outlook now, but since I made the commitment to become a wrestler, I decided to put it all on me. Daddy's money plays no factor in me, my training, or my talent in the ring. The blonde hair, small frame, and lack of experience will continue to paint me as an underdog, even against someone like you. But this little package comes with some big surprises."
The woman on Brooklyn's right stares at the diva with confidence on her face, pedaling up to par with Brook. Brooklyn picks up the pace, pedaling even faster, prompting the woman to try and match her.
"When you kick it into overdrive in our match Heather, I'll match you, I might even surpass you. The good thing about being the smallest person in our match means I'm also the quickest. Wasn't that your downfall against Hightower? Of course he used the ref to his advantage, but he used his speed to take advantage and defeat you.
Not all of us can be the BEST at everything, but we're all the best at something. My strongest point is taking the energy the crowd breathes out, and using it as fuel to keep going. Those 1,000 fans at Convergence were my lifeline, and I pray that they support me as much at night one of World War. With the fans in my corner, I feel like nothing will stop me next time."
The woman is having a hard time keeping up with Brooklyn's pace and is visibly slowing down as Brook keeps pedaling quickly.
"Three of us were on cardio bikes...one man, two women and..."
The other woman stops pedaling and stumbles off the cardio bike, grabbing a towel and walking out of camera view upset that she couldn't outlast Brooklyn.
"I refused to give into fatigue. I refused to allow them to outwork me, which is my strategy in this triple threat match. In a match where I don't have to be pinned to lose, I have to be aggressive. I refuse to sit back and allow one of them to beat the other, win or lose, I'll be in the deciding fall. This is MY career, only I can control my fate. Good luck to both of you. Lets steal the show."
