Gimmick: The higher up the ladder of success you climb, the harder you hit the ground when you fall. Jake Venom had lived his entire life at the very top of wrestling until drugs and alcohol took control of him and wouldn't let go. Shortly after winning his fifth or sixth World Championship, he found himself being fired by a company he had been loyal to his entire wrestling career. Jake wanted to watch the world burn as he fell, though, writing a tell-all memoir about the state of wrestling and what it's like to be a professional wrestler. In his memoir, he named some of the biggest stars in the game for violating the substance abuse policy and injecting steroids. Soon after, he was exiled from wrestling. A Pariah. A killjoy of the sport that everyone else loved.
Now, he's back after years in exile, with the only company that would give him a chance: PANGAEA.
