The topic of board activity has come up over the last little while. I agree with most with the sentiment that OOC activity is integral to a strong federation over all. That being said, I cannot be the only person posting things for people to engage in. If you have an idea for a new board, be it OOC or IC then let me know. I am willing to appoint moderators to these boards so that people can drive activity themselves. Note that I am not looking for super specific topic boards but I am open to suggestions. Say that Olethros wanted to moderate a purely wrestling related board, that I would do. Say he wanted a board just for Chikara; that I wouldn't really be interested in creating. Post your ideas here. |

How about maybe a games section? Not like video games, but topics like 'this or that?' 'Would you rather?' etc? I guess that could maybe go under general OOC, just throwing out ideas.

Kinda like those locker room threads like back in the old days. Pretty much where the characters could interact around Paris or whatever. Maybe create heat between characters cause like Trashcan Sam spilt wine on one of Brooklyn's favorite purse.

Just my two cents, but usually "Game" parts of boards, just degenerate into pointless spam. I've legit seen, "Let's count to a Million" threads. I don't think that's actual OOC activity.
Same thing with Backstage stuff, unless you have a fed that has an open "Just everyone fight all the time" like Carny Pro's Torture Room, they don't really add anything to anything.
Not to be a total Negative Nancy, I'll go start a thread about something that we can talk about.

Sam you actually make a good point. The boards look clean and clutter free right now. Maybe all we need is just a topic or 2 that can generate discussion. Also, people using the Aggregator more would be a good way for the characters to interact.
We could always do the game threads under the general OOC.
