BEGIN TRANSMISSION_\\
[Feed clears. The Herald stands before the camera, the Destroyer behind him, arms folded.]
[The Grand Championship is over one shoulder, his eyes glaring into the lens.]
[The Herald of Destruction speaks.]
Keep trying harder, mortal fools, for The Destroyer wants more prey to lay low. Each victory you achieve brings you closer to your end at His hands. Eager though some of you are, you are not yet ready to face Him. Give your all in the ring, and even then, you may need outside assistance to win. Armada, however, is not worthy of facing Him, to be so easily distracted as he was. No, instead He must make do with the vain and vainglorious Hightower.
He is not impressed with you, Keegan Hightower, nor how you won the right to face Him. It is not something to be proud of, to rely on the aid of others. Giving you your due, however, you have amassed enough wins to be deemed worthy. However, it was not He who decided your worth, but those who run PANGAEA. They are the ones who have signed your death warrant, Mr. Hightower. Olethros cares not for vanity, nor for something as insignificant as human beauty. What He finds beautiful is in what He leaves in His wake. The fire and ash and rubble. Everything is at its most luminous in the moments before its end, as you will discover. Ruination awaits you in Stockholm, Mr. Hightower.[The Destroyer rumbles, but otherwise does not move or speak.]
Make no mistake about it, though-- He is not taking you lightly. As I said, you have accumulated victories enough to face Him for His championship. Keep hold of that, at least, for that is something of which to be proud. Even if you stand no chance against Him, you reached the mountaintop.
You have the unique opportunity to be the first defense of the Grand Championship. Olethros may wish for more worthy prey, but He will not ignore the prey offered up. Unlike others in this industry of ours, He does not denigrate or deride His prey too much. Really, doing so would only make His victories seem... empty.
Perhaps you will take heed of my words. Perhaps not. Everyone learns the penalty for disregarding my warnings. Again and again, they dismiss me as a non-threat. Come the finish, they realize I am His Herald for a reason. Everyone comes to realize I am His Prophet as well.[Another rumble from The Destroyer.]
[This time the Herald turns his head and looks at him.]
[The Destroyer's gaze shifts down to look at his advocate.]
[The Herald bows his head and steps aside.]
[The Grand Champion steps forward.]
THERE ARE MANY SINS THAT MANKIND EXHIBITS. YOU, KEEGAN HIGHTOWER, I KNOW YOUR SINS. PRIDEFUL OF YOUR APPEARANCE. GREEDY AND LUSTFUL FOR ACCLAIM AND ADORATION. ENVIOUS AND COVETOUS OF THE GOLD I POSSESS. NOW YOU FACE ONE WHO HAS ONLY ONE SIN: FOR WHAT ELSE COULD I BE BUT THE EMBODIMENT OF WRATH ITSELF?[The Destroyer gestures to his face and mask.]
THIS MASK IS A SYMBOL. BENEATH THIS MASK, THERE IS NOT A MAN. THE MAN WHO PUT ON THE MASK NO LONGER EXISTS. HE IS NAMELESS. HE DOES NOT MATTER. INDEED, NO ONE CARED WHO HE WAS UNTIL HE BECAME ME. HE DESIRED TO BECOME SOMETHING GREATER, AND I NEEDED A VESSEL.[He holds out his hand.]
I SAID UNTO HIM, "COME AND SEE." AND HE SAW, AND BEHELD HIS DESTINY, AS MY VOICE SAID UNTO HIM: "GO FORTH AND CONQUER. TAKE PEACE FROM THE EARTH."
[His hand curls into a fist.]
AND HE HEARD, AND KNEW HIS PURPOSE. SO HE BECAME I, THE DESTROYER, AND THUS DOES PANGAEA SHAKE AT MY WORDS.
CRUSH! KILL! DESTROY![Feed cuts out.]

Mr. Hightower here is the ladder that you requested.
A stagehand in a white t-shirt and shorts comes in with an orange ladder he sets it up for Keegan and smiles.
I also asked for a girl in a bikini to deliver it to me. But alas I got you.
Well, all the girls in the bikinis said that they didn’t want to bring it to you sir.
The stagehand laughs and Keegan looks at him and shakes his head.
Was that supposed to be some sort of a joke?
Umm…yeah…I…
No, just leave me.
Dumb kids.
Keegan looks at the ladder and smiles.
I know what you are all thinking right now. That Keegan Hightower is being so cliché bringing in a ladder. He is easily going to talk about how he is on the bottom and Olethros is on the top and he wants to climb up and knock him off of said ladder so he can be on top of the Pangaea world.
And you’d be right.
He taps the ladder with his right hand and sits on it. Albeit awkwardly but he does so anyway. A sheer look of determination crosses his face.
Olethros you are on top of the world here and I have had three words in my head this week.
Crush.
Kill.
Destroy.
Everywhere I walk that is all I hear from the stupid fans of this company. I get it, because you have been walking through this company pretty much with one hand tied behind your back. Every time you have said Crush. Kill. Destroy. It has rung true. You haven’t lost and well everyone thinks that you will be the one that will walk out and face me and beat me and stay the champion. But I’m not going to let that happen you see this company needs a man with a face holding the title, not someone that hides behind a mask like you do Olethros.
He gets up and starts to walk up the ladder backwards as he keeps on speaking.
You haven’t faced the prettiest man in Pangaea yet Olethros but soon you will. Soon you will have to look at me and you can utter those three words, but you aren’t going to crush me, you aren’t going to kill me and you sure as hell will not destroy me.
No one wants me to win this title Olethros, listen to Ramona Holiday and how she berates me and tries to make me look bad, funny thing is I know deep down that she wants me. She is trying to hide behind those words to throw me off but I know that deep down she wants to be with me. And look Ramona if I win you and I can celebrate baby! You bring the wine and I’ll bring the title and we can set this place on fire baby!
He gets to the top of the ladder and sits down and smiles.
I want to climb the ladder here in Pangaea and I want to be the Grand Champion and Olethros you stand in the way of that. Brooklyn Blake, and Armada stood in front of me for this opportunity and look what I did to them. Poor Brooklyn still whines about her hurt wrist and Armada couldn’t be me. Yes, I know people will say that I got lucky because Brooklyn distracted him and all of that, but truly it doesn’t matter because she finally found out who was the lesser of two evils. Smart girl. Finally.
Olethros bring your Herald of Destruction as well. Let him get up and close with beauty and let him watch me beat you. Let him watch me break you down piece by piece. I see a prize that I want and usually I get what I want ask all of the women I have been with. I have pinpointed what I want and I have gotten it. Now the title you place around your waist is what I want and I will get it. I promise you that Olethros.
Pangaea already needs a change. I know you just got the title and you are getting all comfy with it but I need to rescue it from you. A title like that shouldn’t be held by someone like you. It should have a face that you can market that people want to see. They don’t want to see someone behind a mask, why have that when you can have someone like me. Olethros anything can be behind that mask you could have like a freaky third eye, you could have teeth that go every way except straight and that is just gross.
He sticks his tongue out and starts to walk down the ladder.
The Grand Champion needs to be perfection and that is what I am. Now should I be scared of what you bring to the table? Maybe. But I’m not because I will go toe to toe with you. That might be stupid and that might get this pretty face kicked in. But when a title is on the line I will do what it takes to win it, and I will do just that Olethros. I will bring everything that I have. Why? Because like I have said I want to prove to everyone that I am the best that this company has. You might think that is you Olethros but at the end of the day I will give you your first loss. It is that simple.
Don’t worry folks soon the title will have a face, I will never hide behind a mask. My face is to pretty to hide that title needs me, I will be saving it. So get ready Ramona to scream in pleasure when I win that title.
He winks as he pats the ladder one more time and walks off.

BEGIN TRANSMISSION_\\
[Feed clears. Standing in the darkness is a ladder. As the light slowly rises to a dim level, it transpires that more ladders are leaned against it. More ladders are slotted into the rungs like makeshift scaffolding. Still more are stacked around them.]
[Stood before the ladders stands the massive bulk of The Destroyer himself. A fire in a barrel provides more illumination as the Grand Champion glares balefully into the camera.]
[Pacing before the camera is the Herald.]
As we listen to your words, Mr. Hightower, it becomes clear what drives you. Lesser men or greater, it matters not, everyone has something that spurs them on. Like many others, you seek that with is unattainable-- Perfection.
That one should aspire to an ideal is admirable, one might even say noble. He approves of this zeal of yours, Mr. Hightower, even if it will mean your end. If I may philosophize, then let me say that perfection is not for ordinary men. Nothing is perfect, it is something that is always out of reach. Grasp for it all you like, but it is ephemeral, naught but mist through your fingers. Seek perfection, and one will only find little victories, never the ideal.
Such little victories can be the source of happiness, of pride. These little victories have fooled you into thinking that perfection is within your grasp. Reach in vain, Mr. Hightower, for you face something far closer to perfection. In His unending path, He has been shaped into something more. Victories for Him have been inevitable because they do not believe my words. Every opponent thinks that they will be the one to attain perfection, to defeat Him.
If nothing else, you do not lack for confidence, Mr. Hightower. Not that this, or your desperate attempts to flirt with Ms. Holiday, will matter.
Vanity will be your undoing, Mr. Hightower. Attractiveness accounts for nothing in this industry. In the end, it is skill and resilience that tells, Not whether you believe yourself the prettiest face in the land.[The Herald steps off camera as The Destroyer growls, his eyes black.]
[He turns and regards the ladders surrounding him.]
CLIMB THE LADDER. REACH FOR THE BRASS RING. ASPIRE FOR PERFECTION. LIKE ICARUS OF OLD, YOU WILL PLUMMET FROM THE HIGHS.
FLY TOO HIGH, AND YOU WILL BURN. I AM THE ONE WHO GRABS THE SUN, FORETELLING THE TWILIGHT OF THE GODS.
CLIMB THE LADDER, RISE TO THE MOMENT. REACH FOR GLORY, LET YOUR SPIRIT BURN. ASPIRE FOR GREATNESS, STRIVE YOUR BEST. AND YOU WILL FALL, AND YOU WILL FAIL.
YOUR ARROGANCE WILL SPELL YOUR DOOM. AND MY LITANY WILL CONTINUE TO HAUNT YOUR FINAL MOMENTS.[And as The Destroyer bellows that litany, flames ignite around him, engulfing the ladders.]
[He stands amidst the fire, his eyes and the gleam of his teeth just visible in the flames.]
CRUSH! KILL! DESTROY![Feed cuts out.]
